Description

Buttons,  custom covered bridal buttons. These buttons have a cloth shank. These buttons are covered using the fabric from the wedding gown or other outfit that you are making. The buttons will then match the gown/outfit because they are covered with the fabric that it is made from.

Each button measures 1/2″ wide when covered with fabric. To decide how many buttons to use on the back of a wedding gown, you will need 2 buttons per inch if you are using Non-elastic button loops. If you are using elastic loops, you will need 1 button per inch.

If you are using these buttons for a decorative look only (with a zipper in the back of the dress), then they typically are sewn on to the zipper flap (no button loops are needed).  When used for a decorative look, the buttons are spaced and sewn on every 1/2″ to 3/4″ depending on what spacing you desire.

To proceed, place an order on the website for the quantity of buttons that you need.  Then you can send some scraps of fabric to Lace & Co,  P.O. Box 572062,  Salt Lake City, UT 84157-2062. We will cover the buttons for you with the fabric you send to us. SCRAPS of fabric are just fine to mail to us. Approximately a 6″ x 6″ piece of fabric is sufficient to cover 10 buttons. If you need more buttons, you can figure out how much more fabric to send. Plan on  10 – 12  business days from when you send the fabric for the buttons to be made and then to be returned back to you. Once we receive the fabric, they are made within  1 – 3  business days. Let us know by email that the fabric is on its’ way.  (laceandcompany@gmail.com)
